Delivery and Return Terms & Conditions

TreesByBike does it’s best to provide timely delivery and quality Christmas Trees to our customers. It is our goal to spread holiday cheer in every way we can. That said, there’s some terms and conditions we wanted to make clear to everyone.

Delivery Day and Time

After receiving your order, we will contact you to either confirm your desired delivery day and time, or to let you know we need to schedule for another day and time. We try our best to serve everyone’s desired day and time, however many conditions can create a situation where our customers will not be best served at that particular time. In the interest of not trying to over-stretch our service, we may ask customers to pick a second or third desired day and time. If you feel as though TreesByBike cannot or is not willing to serve at a convenient day or time for you, we will refund your money without penalty if you contact us before your tree goes out for delivery.

Recieving Deliveries

TreesByBike tries to make small enough delivery time windows so that we do not disrupt your life. We keep to these time windows and hope that our customers will be available to receive deliveries in those time windows. We WILL NOT drop off a tree without signature unless you have previously arranged it. If no one is at the delivery location to receive the tree and sign for it, then the tree will return to our distribution center and we will contact you.

Quality of Trees

TreesByBike purchases our trees directly from a grower outside of Portland. The tree quality is a #2 or higher, and most of our trees are #1 quality. That said, all trees are said to have natural imperfections. Holes in needle coverage, branches that are longer than others, and general branch condition are natural occurrences even in #1 trees.

Returns or Exchanges

TreesByBike cannot accept returns or exchanges based on “dislike” or “distaste” of a tree’s appearance. Christmas trees ARE NOT perfect and cannot be guaranteed to look exactly how you desire. They grow out of the ground, they are not manufactured in a factory. That said, we DO NOT want our customers to have a bad holiday season, and are willing to consider returns and exchanges in EXTREME situations or in the event that TreesByBike has provided a UNACCEPTABLE tree. EXTREME situations include: animals living in the tree, holes largers than 30% the total tree volume, and any situation where the tree is unusable. Tree are deemed UNACCEPTABLE is they are delivered with a missing top or appearing to have been mistreated or otherwise unduly worn. If you believe your tree falls into an EXTREME situation or is otherwise UNACCEPTABLE, please contact info@treesbybike.com for a consultation and review of the tree.

The trees are imperfect, require grooming, and need water to survive.
A care sheet will be provided with your delivery.
